Creating moments of connection across generations and communities.

Connection and belonging are essential to wellbeing at every stage of life.

This year, Northwood continued to strengthen programs and partnerships that bring people together through shared experiences, creativity, learning, and community engagement. From intergenerational music and daycare programs to wellness initiatives, volunteer involvement, and therapeutic recreation, these experiences help reduce isolation, foster joy, and build meaningful relationships across generations.

Programs such as Kindermusik and intergenerational therapy create opportunities for residents, children, families, and community members to learn from one another and share moments of connection that are both simple and deeply meaningful.

Northwood also continued to expand opportunities for residents and clients to remain active participants in community life - supporting social wellbeing, purpose, and inclusion across all areas of care.

These programs remind us that strong communities are built through connection, and that care is most meaningful when people feel seen, valued, and included.
