With Northwood Fall River and Northwood Dartmouth currently in development, we are creating spaces that prioritize dignity, comfort, connection, and quality of life. These new communities will feature private rooms, enhanced amenities, and welcoming, home-like environments designed to better support residents, families, and care teams.

Northwood Dartmouth, being built on Akoma lands, will also become home to the province’s first Afrocentric long-term care delivery model grounded in cultural competence, inclusion, and respect for the lived experiences of residents and families. This intentional approach will help ensure care is not only clinically excellent, but also culturally meaningful and responsive.
